Dr. Miggantz graduated with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego in 2013. For 11 years, she worked for the U.S. Navy as a contracted Research Psychologist involved in studies focused on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sleep, suicide, depression, and prevention of sexual assault.

Through continuing education, Dr. Miggantz became enamored by, and immersed in, the neurodiversity movement. She was captivated by its implications not only for adults with undiagnosed autism, but also for the field of psychology, as there is finally some acknowledgement that evidence-based therapies may not work for everyone's neurotype. It was this change in the field, coupled with her passion for and experience in psychological testing that led Dr. Miggantz to begin conducting adult autism evaluations. Dr. Miggantz is fully aligned with the social model of disability, recognizing that people do not need to be "fixed", but instead, their environment can be modified to improve their quality of life. It is her hope that through assessment, individuals who have lived with undiagnosed autism can begin to feel validated and understood, and can receive the support they need and deserve.

About Me
(Personally)
I am down-to-earth and honest, and I genuinely care about each of my clients. I do this work because I truly enjoy it. My goal is to create a safe and transparent environment that recognizes each client as a person, not just a patient. Clients have shared that they appreciate my approachable nature, kindness, and commitment to going above and beyond the standard of care.

Customized Assessments
Each assessment is tailored to the individual, as I believe there is no "one size fits all" approach. I limit the number of cases I take on at any given time to ensure I have the time and resources to craft a unique evaluation that addresses each person's specific needs. This means that the tests administered and the recommendations provided are customized for each client.

Prompt and Personalized "Customer Service"
When you call, text, or email my business, you'll communicate directly with me. There's no need to leave a message with administrative staff or wait days for a response. I often return calls the same day and make sure to take the time to answer all your questions before you decide to schedule an assessment. Clients often comment on and appreciate this extra level of personal attention.

Individualized Attention and "Thoroughness"
If more time is needed to evaluate a client, I schedule additional appointments, administer supplementary tests, or speak with multiple loved ones until I am confident in my diagnostic conclusion. There is no additional cost for this; I simply prioritize being thorough and accurate. Clients consistently express their appreciation for the extra time I invest to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
